2. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy covers two distinct groups:
- Hosts (Couples / Hosts): users who register an account to create and manage a wedding website.
- Guests: individuals who access a wedding website via an invitation code and interact through the RSVP form.
We collect different data from each group, described in detail below.
3. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum personal data necessary to provide Wedly's services.

This includes basic device and browser details, general usage data (time of visit, pages viewed), and anonymized network information used to detect errors or potential misuse. This data is aggregated and anonymized wherever possible and is used solely for performance monitoring and security purposes.
We also store the following data in your browser's local storage:

7. Data Collected on Behalf of Hosts
When guests interact with a wedding website, their data is collected on behalf of the couple who created it (the "Host"). The Host accesses and controls this guest data through their Wedly dashboard. Wedly acts as a data processor in respect of guest data; the Host is the data controller.
Hosts are responsible for:
- Providing guests with appropriate notice about data collection

Guests who wish to have their data removed from a specific wedding website should contact the couple directly.
